The 120’s back, the 120’s back! I can hear the beer nerds jumping and shouting at each other now.

In other words, Holy Grail Pub in Plano is holding their bi-annual Dog Days event this Tuesday, January 17th. Once again they’ll be tapping some fantastic Dogfish Head beers, but the star of the show will once more be the infamous 120 Minute IPA.

The last time they tapped this beer, it sold out in under 15 minutes, and for once, that’s not an exaggeration. It’s an amazing beer, and it doesn’t show up often, so when it does, it’s gone in an instant.

Technically, it’s being tapped at 6pm, but if you’re serious about getting a glass, you’d better be there a lot earlier then that. The place will be packed, and rightfully so, and there’s a good chance they’ll be going around asking folks if they’re planning to order it before it’s actually tapped, just to ensure those who were there early get served first.

Of course, if 18% beers aren’t your thing, or you’re the one stuck driving, they’ve also got other fantastic and rare Dogfish Head Beers including the rather unique Immort, and the Burton Baton oak-aged IPA. Hard to go wrong with any of those beers.

So, go drink some!
