Dallas Beer Week marches on this Thursday, November 19th. Let’s be honest, most of of the folks who read this blog probably already have their reservations for the “headline” event of the night. That is of course, the soon to be infamous Jester King / Mikkeller Beer dinner at the Common Table. Six courses, six amazing beers from one of Texas’s finest craft breweries and the world’s foremost roving brewer. The event is long since sold out, and sure to be the talk of the Dallas Craft Beer Scene for a quite a while.
But if you haven’t got reservations or can’t make the event, don’t sweat it, as there are still plenty of other fantastic events scheduled for Thursday.
Eno’s Pizza Tavern is having their own beer dinner, this one with Garret Oliver of Brookyn Brewing. And over at the Libertine, they’ll be doing a Dogfish Head beer and food pairing as well.
The Flying Saucer in Addison will be tapping a cask conditioned version of Saint Arnold’s Pumpkinator at 5pm.
At Trinity Hall, they’ll feature a tasting of Rogue Beers as well as Rogue Spirits. And up at Kegs And Barrels 15th Street Location in Plano, they’ll be tasting Oskar Blue’s line up.
There are also pint nights going on at the Holy Grail Pub where you can get a Maredsous Chalice, as well as a Fraconia Pint night over at the Idle Rich Pub. Hooray glassware. The Gingerman Plano will be doing a glass night too, but I wouldn’t try making all three.
And as usual theres even more then that, so head on over to www.dallasbeerweek.com for the full schedule!
