Today, November 3rd is International Stout Day. Following in the footsteps of the highly successful International IPA Day, Stout Day celebrates all things dark and roasty. Or dark and chocolately, dark and coffee-ish…well, you get the idea.
So pour yourself a stout, raise it high, and drink it down. Try not to spill it on yourself when you raise it though, cause that’d just be embarrassing.
The Holy Grail Pub will be tapping Great Divide’s Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout at 6pm to celebrate. The Common Table’s going to be tapping Stone Belgo Anise Imperial Russian Stout around 5pm, or so. And odds are, if you’ve another favorite craft beer bar, they’ll be serving some stout, too.
So go drink some, and happy Stout Day, folks!
